  • AI Battle: Blog Content Creation

I took the same prompt and the same file of a discussion from a #WxAISocialSaturday and did a three way AI battle. I used the free version of all of these tools. Prompt: 1. Summarize the whole discussion and make it into a blog post. Include 10 direct quotes and cite who they are from. 2. Pull all the AI tools mentioned in the discussion and sort them by the number of times they were mentioned and provide URLs to the tool. The AI Contenders Perplexity Claude Claude said that my original file was too big for the free version so that was a big reduction in points from me. I had to switch the content we were using for the test. ChatGPT Judging Methodology I wanted to reduce bias in the evaluation because of course we all have our favorite AI tools. So naturally I outsourced the judging to AI. I went to NotebookLM and added in the output from each AI. NotebookLM's Evaluation: • Perplexity  provided the most comprehensive list of AI-related entities mentioned, attempted to provide URLs, and summarized the discussion effectively, even though its blog post formatting was simple. • Claude  created a well-structured blog post with clear headings but missed some AI tools in its list and incorrectly counted mentions. • ChatGPT  also produced a good blog post structure but might have fallen short on the exact number of quotes and the completeness of the AI tool list. Therefore, based on these outputs, Perplexity  appears to have best addressed the prompt by focusing on extracting the requested information, particularly the AI tools and their URLs. The Judge Gets In the Ring I became curious about how NotebookLM would perform on the task so I created a new notebook and uploaded the source material and the prompt. Here's how NotebookLM did: Judging and Conclusion by a Human As I have been working on providing summaries of our #WxAISocialSaturday I have found myself using a customGPT I made after this test. What is the best tool for the job today may not be the best tool for the job tomorrow. I will continue to use different AI tools. This is important as the tools continue to evolve and change. • 🎬 Google’s Veo 3: The Future of AI Video Creation

Image Created with Gemini Flash 2.5 At Google I/O 2025, Google unveiled Veo 3 , its latest AI-powered video generation tool that transforms simple text prompts into cinematic videos complete with synchronized audio. This advancement opens new avenues for entrepreneurs, content creators, and tech professionals to produce high-quality video content without extensive resources. It's powerful and with that comes a high expense of $249 per month. 🚀 What is Veo 3? Veo 3 is Google's third-generation AI video generator that not only creates realistic visuals but also integrates native audio, including speech, music, and ambient sounds. This means users can generate full-fledged videos with dialogues and sound effects by simply providing a text description. @EconomicTimes For instance, inputting a prompt like "a stand-up comedian performing at a small club" results in a video featuring the comedian's voice, audience laughter, and background noise—all synthesized by AI. 🎨 Key Features of Veo 3 Text-to-Video with Audio: Generate videos from text prompts that include synchronized audio elements. High-Quality Output: Produces 4K resolution videos with realistic physics and lip-syncing. Creative Control: Offers tools for camera motion, angles, and scene transitions. Integration with Flow: Works seamlessly with Google's Flow, an AI-powered filmmaking tool that allows for advanced scene building and editing. 💼 Why Veo 3 Matters for Women Entrepreneurs For women entrepreneurs, especially those in startups or solo ventures, Veo 3 democratizes video content creation. It eliminates the need for expensive equipment or large production teams, enabling the creation of promotional videos, product demos, or educational content with minimal resources. This tool empowers women to compete in the digital marketplace by providing access to high-quality video production capabilities, fostering creativity and innovation in their businesses. 🌐 Access and Availability Currently, Veo 3 is available to users in the United States through the Gemini Ultra subscription plan, priced at $249.99 per month. It can be accessed via the Gemini app and is also integrated into Google's Flow platform for enhanced video creation capabilities. 🎥 Behind the Scenes: Using 2.5 Flash to Create AI-Generated Videos We experimented with another exciting and easier to access AI video tool: 2.5 Flash —a diffusion-based video generation model that acts as a bridge between static images and full video. It enables creators to animate still visuals with motion and stylistic transitions, making it ideal for concept reels, social media content, and storyboarding. At WOMEN x AI, we used 2.5 Flash  to: Create short videos to catch the eye Craft cute corgi content Challenge the modes understanding of physics with a dog catching a berry These experiments helped us understand how AI video tools can reduce production time, increase creative freedom, and open access for women entrepreneurs and creators who might not have technical video editing skills. Check out the corgi content it delivered: Corgi running thought a field of wild flowers: Corgi Catching a Raspberry Corgi Hearding Sheep Very majestic dog in the right setting, but it failed to give us sheep. • AI Isn’t Just for Coders — And Other Myths We’re Busting Together

Every week at WOMEN x AI, we hear powerful conversations from women in our community who are breaking into AI, building with it, and leading thoughtful discussions around its future. During our #WxAISocialSaturday series, one theme kept coming up: misconceptions about AI that hold women (and many others) back from stepping into this space. Let’s set the record straight by debunking some of the most common AI myths we heard this week. 🚫 Myth: "AI is only for technical people." Reality:  AI is for everyone. You don’t need a computer science degree to contribute meaningfully to the AI field. In fact, some of the most important roles in AI require creativity, communication, domain knowledge, and ethical oversight. From product managers to marketers, educators to healthcare professionals, AI needs diverse voices and perspectives to be truly impactful. 🚫 Myth: "AI is neutral." Reality:  AI reflects the data it’s trained on — and that data often carries bias. Algorithms are not created in a vacuum. If we feed biased data into AI systems, they learn and reinforce those biases. That’s why representation matters. Women in AI play a vital role in shaping ethical standards, auditing models, and ensuring fair outcomes. 🚫 Myth: "AI will replace all of us." Reality:  AI augments human abilities — it doesn’t replace them. Yes, automation is changing the job landscape. But it’s also creating new roles and opportunities. AI can process data faster than we can, but it can’t replicate empathy, creativity, leadership, or emotional intelligence. These human strengths are more valuable than ever. 🚫 Myth: "AI will replace Product Managers." Reality:  AI can optimize workflows, but it can’t lead teams. Product Managers (PMs) juggle ambiguity, facilitate alignment, and bring clarity to chaos. AI tools can help with trend analysis, summarizing feedback, and suggesting ideas—but they lack the ability to negotiate trade-offs, understand team dynamics, or build consensus. Human leadership is irreplaceable. 🚫 Myth: "Only certain people can teach AI." Reality:  Anyone can teach AI with the right tools and intention. Training AI isn’t just for engineers. Through tools like prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and responsible data curation, everyone can participate in shaping how AI behaves. Community-led learning is one of the most exciting trends in AI today. 🚫 Myth: "AI can do everything." Reality:  AI is powerful, but not magic. AI needs human goals, data, and supervision to function effectively. It can enhance productivity and reveal insights, but it’s not sentient or self-sufficient. Knowing its limitations helps us use it more strategically and responsibly. 🚫 Myth: "AI will rise up and destroy humanity." Reality:  This is more science fiction than science fact. The real risks aren’t robot uprisings—they’re systemic issues like unchecked surveillance, biased decision-making, and lack of transparency. That’s why we need diverse, ethical voices in AI development, especially women who bring social and emotional intelligence into the room. At WOMEN x AI, we believe education is empowerment. When we dismantle these myths, we create more space for women to lead, build, and innovate in AI. Want to dive deeper into AI? Check out our recent AI Titans Tools Council's recommendations on what tools to use. They even share their tips and tricks. Let’s keep the conversation going. What AI myths have you heard lately? • AI Titans Tools Council by WOMEN x AI

Made with Gemini WOMEN x AI | Introducing the AI Titans Tools Council At WOMEN x AI, we're always looking for meaningful ways to spotlight the brilliance of our community. In that spirit, we’re proud to announce the formation of our AI Titans Tools Council  — an invite-only collective of women founders and operators who are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with AI. Why the AI Tools Council? Let’s face it: AI is evolving fast. But women are still underrepresented in adopting and leading with these tools. We created the AI Titans Tools Council  to change that narrative by building a trusted, ever-evolving AI stack that reflects how  real women in tech are getting results. Meg McWilliams and Jenny Wilde came up with the idea and pitched it to Reut Lazo and Jenny Kay Pollock. Immediately we knew this was something that would bring value to our community. We're so happy they choose to launch their idea with WOMENxAI. Each member of the Council brings deep, hands-on experience with AI tools that power their companies and careers. We meet every other month to prune, update, and share a "live stack" — a curated list of tools we actually use, love, and recommend (warts and all). What We Do The Council exists to: Curate a battle-tested stack of AI tools across use cases (from automation to marketing to product dev) Share tips, workflows, and real-world results (including flops!) Provide visibility into how women in early-stage leadership roles use AI every day We believe sharing how  we use tools is just as important as what  we use. Even when we use the same tool, our workflows differ—and those nuances are gold. Inside the Stack Every tool listed comes with: A one-line use case Who’s using it Tips & tricks Where it falls short A "Still using?" check every 60 days to keep the list fresh We’re not interested in shiny object syndrome. Each tool must be approved by peers and regularly reviewed to stay in the stack. Sneak Peek: Our Current Faves Want a taste of what’s in the stack? Here are some of the early favorites: ChatGPT (GPT-4o)  – Strategy sprints, email drafts, meeting notes Limitless  – Transcripts + summaries for high-impact conversations Granola  – Note capture and thought organization made frictionless Check out our full list (plus how we use them!) in our AI Titians Tool Council Review | June 2025 . Who Are the AI Titans? Our inaugural council includes powerhouse founders and operators who are already leading the way: Meg McWilliams Jenny Wilde Malinda Coler Johnson Miri Rodriguz Tarja Stephens Rachel Skeates Reut Lazo Jenny Kay Pollock Want more on Reut & Jenny check out their WOMEN x AI origin story . • Building Human-Centered AI: Lessons from Rupa Bhagwat on #WxAISocialSaturday

The Power of Human-Centered AI During a vibrant #WxAISocialSaturday, WOMEN x AI brought together voices from across the tech world to explore how artificial intelligence can — and should — be shaped by human needs, empathy, and inclusion. Hosted by the inspiring Rupa Bhagwat, the conversation centered on building AI that uplifts, empowers, and protects women in technology and beyond. About Rupa Bhagwat Rupa Bhagwat is a Lead Product Manager at Parker Hannifin, where she drives innovations in AI, IoT, robotics, and automation. She is the author of Product huMan , the founder of TechWalk in Silicon Valley, and a fierce advocate for community-driven tech. Rupa recently took the stage at Product World 2025 in Santa Clara, where she shared her expertise on human behavior, innovation, and the future of technology. Insights from the Community: Designing for Real Human Needs Rupa asked the WOMEN x AI community three thought-provoking questions: What everyday moment could AI improve? What AI tool would uniquely support women in tech? What changes should (and shouldn't) AI bring over the next decade? The answers reflected a deep desire to build tools that enhance—not replace—human capabilities: "A microinvesting matchmaking tool. Every month offer me three women-owned businesses looking for capital based on my investing preferences." – Christine Farrier Rosemin "An AI powered tool that helps women proactively manage and optimize their health, filling the gap in the health tech space where preventive care for women is often overlooked." - Tasha Blackman "I'd love to create a Gossip Goblin specifically for matchmaking women entrepreneurs with other like minded builders, investors, marketers to help them find the best connections and increase their surface area for success." - Meg McWilliams "I’d build an AI mentor to help women navigate pay gaps, decode corporate lingo, and prep for board-level roles with confidence." – Kate Carter "We must be proactive in reskilling because AI will displace some jobs; education needs to prepare students for never-ending learning." – Reut Lazo "AI could negotiate total compensation fairly, removing bias from the hiring process." – Jenny Kay Pollock These ideas underscore the critical need for AI systems designed around transparency, fairness, and real human experiences. The Next 10 Years: A Future Designed with Care While the community expressed excitement for AI's potential to automate tedious tasks and support wellbeing, many also emphasized caution: "AI must never override human intuition or erode authentic connections,"   Rupa Bhagwat emphasized. Other hopes included AI-powered wellness tools, smarter emotional health trackers, and career-pathing mentors designed specifically to help women thrive in tech leadership roles. Shaping a More Inclusive Future Together The conversation during #WxAISocialSaturday reaffirmed that women in AI are not just users of technology — they are its designers, critics, and visionaries. Together, we can build a future where AI enhances human potential, celebrates empathy, and prioritizes inclusion. Ready to add your voice? Join us for the next #WxAISocialSaturday on LinkedIn and help us shape the future of AI — human-centered, inclusive, and unstoppable.

  • How to Use AI to Automate and Grow Your Business

Created with Meta AI Artificial Intelligence is transforming how businesses operate—and for women entrepreneurs, it’s a game-changer. Whether you're running a solo venture or scaling a growing team, AI allows you to do more with less, automate what drains your time, and refocus your energy on strategic growth. Automate Repetitive Tasks to Reclaim Your Time Repetitive admin tasks can eat up hours that could be better spent on vision and strategy. With AI, tools can now handle scheduling, invoicing, follow-ups, and more—all in the background. AI-based platforms like Zapier  and Microsoft Power Automate  connect your favorite apps, so actions like sending client welcome emails or tracking lead activity can happen automatically. These tools are especially useful for solopreneurs or small teams that need lean but powerful systems. For product-based businesses, AI-powered inventory tools can analyze purchasing patterns and predict when you'll need to restock—minimizing lost sales and excess storage costs. Use AI-Powered Chatbots to Scale Customer Service Customers expect fast, helpful responses around the clock. With AI chatbots, you can deliver on that expectation without needing a full-time support team. Modern AI bots (like those from LiveChatAI  or HubSpot's Breeze ) do more than just spit out generic answers—they learn from past interactions, understand intent, and provide tailored responses that mimic human conversation. This keeps customers engaged while saving you hours of inbox triage. If you're selling digital products or services, a chatbot can guide users to the right solution, answer FAQs, or even upsell based on user behavior. Elevate Your Marketing with Smarter AI Campaigns Marketing is one of the most powerful areas where AI can shine. From content creation to customer segmentation, AI tools allow you to create high-converting campaigns faster and more intelligently. With tools like Jasper , you can generate blog content, ad copy, or social captions that are optimized for engagement. AI doesn’t just write—it helps you brainstorm and refine your message. Platforms like Mailmodo  and ActiveCampaign  use machine learning to send the right message to the right person at the right time. They can track how customers interact with your content and automatically adjust email sequences or offers to increase conversions. Make Smarter Business Decisions with AI Analytics Data is one of your business’s most powerful assets—but only if you can interpret it. AI makes that easy. Analytics tools powered by AI can uncover patterns, trends, and hidden opportunities in your business data. Whether you're using Tableau , Google Analytics , or a custom CRM with AI features, these tools can tell you what’s working, what’s not, and what to do next. AI also supports predictive analytics. For example, if you're running an e-commerce shop, AI can forecast which products are likely to sell next month and recommend marketing actions based on that insight. Keep Your Finances in Check with AI Tools Financial tasks can be tedious—but they’re also essential. AI tools like QuickBooks  and Bill.com  now include features that not only automate invoicing and expense tracking but also flag potential cash flow issues or suspicious activity. These platforms can categorize expenses in real time, prepare financial reports, and help ensure you're staying within budget—all with minimal manual input. For entrepreneurs without a finance team, this support is invaluable. AI isn’t about replacing human ingenuity—it’s about enhancing it. For women entrepreneurs, adopting AI means gaining time, clarity, and efficiency in how you run and grow your business. Whether you’re automating the small stuff or using analytics to make big decisions, integrating AI today can position you for smarter growth tomorrow. • 🎊 AI Spotlight: Sandi Besen 🎊

We’re excited to present Sandi Bes en , Ecosystem Lead + AI Research Engineer, IBM Research | AI Startup Advisor  as this week’s AI Spotlight.  Let’s dive into our interview with Sandi and see how she is using AI. 1. Share your AI origin story I grew up immersed in the performing arts as a professional actor and classical singer. Never did I imagine I’d end up pursuing what once seemed unattainable for an artsy kid who "wasn’t good at math"—a fulfilling career in technology, with a focus on AI.During university, I shifted from my artistic path to an academic one and discovered a love for exploring a different side of my brain. I thrived in a field where success felt measurable and my performance wasn’t subjective. That led me to pursue a master’s degree in what was then an emerging field: data science. From the moment I started, I knew I had found my “thing”.For the past six years, I’ve worked in various roles in AI. I’m currently focused on bridging the gap between research and open source development building out the next generation of AI frameworks, platforms and protocols at IBM Research. 2. What three AI tools have been most game changing for you?  1. Perplexity helps me to search for both broad and deep questions on the internet. They've done a great job at reinventing the way we search using the latest AI capabilities. 2. Although this is a standard answer Claude and ChatGPT (particularly the o1 model) really help me quickly understand code and get me unstuck when programming. I check this leaderboard out for the best model to use! https://bigcode-bench.github.io/   3. Hugging face provides me access to interesting datasets and AI models to experiment with. I am a huge proponent of open source and love how they try to recreate close sourced models for the open source community! 3. If you were just starting your AI journey today where would you start?  I would go deep. I'd pick a field with broad applicability and be the expert in that field with the credentials to back it up. Additionally, I'd tell myself that you don't need to prove anything to anyone but yourself and to be kind to myself if concepts don't "click" right away. Nothing good was ever built over night.  4. Share the spotlight: Name 3+ women leading in AI we should all follow.  My friend Tula Masterman who is a powerhouse and rising star, then some well known women in the space like Fei-Fei Li and Allie Miller. 5. As a woman in AI, what do you want our allies to know?  It can be intimidating to speak up in a room of people who don't look like you. At times that unique person might also feel unjustly "like they might not belong." Make them welcome and encourage them to participate. Want to be the next in AI Spotlight?
