This week, N. Liberty White, founder of She Learns AI, hosted #WxAISocialSaturday with a mix of fun prompts and deep questions that sparked connection across the Women x AI community. Her mission is clear: to train one million women to lead with AI, not just keep up.

With less than 22% of AI professionals being women, spaces like these create visibility, confidence, and pathways for women ready to step into AI-driven careers. From gelato confessions to bold wisdom on creating your own opportunities, this week’s #WxAISocialSaturday with N. Liberty White showcased how women in AI are redefining leadership and learning in tech.

About the Host: N. Liberty White

Liberty is an AI strategist and workforce educator who has produced events like Women + AI Futures in Atlanta and Cannes. Through She Learns AI, she designs training that equips women to use AI in any role, across industries and experience levels. She’ll also be hosting a meetup in NYC this September — an opportunity for women in tech to gather, learn, and grow.

What the Community Shared

The conversation blended lighthearted energy with meaningful wisdom. Liberty’s three prompts — snacks, self-advice, and AI investments — brought out personal stories and practical strategies.

🧃 Sweet or salty snacks: What’s your go-to?

The community leaned sweet — from brownies to gelato to Oreos — though a few stayed loyal to salty favorites like chips, guacamole, and Doritos.

Salty over sweet, 100%. Trying to go for 'only slightly salty' though..” – Joyce Li, CFA
Popcorn with Raisinets hits every time.” – Maisha L. C.

🧠 What would you tell your past self before starting your AI journey?

The collective wisdom was clear: take initiative, embrace community, stay curious, and don’t wait for permission to grow in AI.

“Don’t wait for people to give you an opportunity — you can create them yourself.” – Meg McWilliams
Just start and have fun - you don't need to solve the world's problems, you just need to try.” – Anne-Marie Enns

💰If you had $5,000 to spend on AI learning, what would you invest in?

Most would invest in education and networking — courses, certifications, and conferences — with a shared belief that community and experimentation are just as valuable as formal training.

“Enroll in online courses and attend AI conferences.” – Moha Shah
Global conferences and Convenings.” – Ruby Vitatoe
Startups forging new tech in your community for health and sustainability. .” – Naomi Caietti, PMP

Beyond Snacks: Why It Matters

The discussion reminded us that AI isn’t just about tools — it’s about confidence, community, and perspective. As one member shared, “Trust your unique lens.” That lens, shaped by diverse experiences, is exactly what the AI industry needs to innovate responsibly.

Closing Thoughts

From Oreo debates to career-shaping insights, this weekend’s #WxAISocialSaturday showed how women and allies are reshaping the future of AI — together. Liberty’s leadership reminded us that every small conversation helps build the larger movement toward inclusion and representation.
