How Women in AI Are Building Bold Futures—Together
This past #WxAISocialSaturday, the Women x AI (WxAI) community showed once again why it’s one of the most impactful global networks for women in technology. Hosted by futurist and strategist Ruby Vitatoe, the conversation invited participants to reflect on three themes:
🎨 How has AI influenced your creativity? 🤔 What does Responsible AI mean to you? 💄 What bold move are you planning before the year ends?
What followed was a flood of thoughtful responses, bold ambitions, and real talk about the future we’re all building together.
Meet the Host: Ruby Vitatoe
Ruby Vitatoe is a fractional consultant, futurist, and brand strategist working at the intersection of innovation, public affairs, and community. She’s also the visionary behind the upcoming AI 2030 Silicon Valley Summit, a gathering of global AI leaders and investors on November 5, 2025. Ruby’s leadership style? Visionary, inclusive, and unapologetically bold. She’s currently inviting partners and sponsors to co-create this landmark event.
Creativity Reimagined: How AI Sparks New Possibilities
For many community members, AI is less about automation and more about amplification—enhancing their ability to imagine, design, and lead.
“AI helps me think outside the box (way outside). ”— Lucia Valerio, Head of Human Resources, Lexar International
“I've always been process-driven, so it fuels my inner workflow geek. Interestingly enough, AI has been more of a coach helping me to communicate better.”— N. Liberty White, Top Voice in AI Readiness & Workforce Development
“It's helped me realise I'm a systems thinker and that I can solve problems and brainstorm new ideas by using AI with frameworks, existing and ones I created in the past.”— Tara Thompson, AI Educator & Keynote Speaker
These women are not just using AI—they’re co-creating with it, blending human intuition with machine-powered possibility.
Responsible AI: Beyond Buzzwords, Toward Accountability
Ethics and responsibility were central to this Social Saturday. The consensus? Responsible AI starts with intentionality, representation, and impact awareness.
“Consideration. We are well aware that the technology can be used for both good and evil. So when I think about how we can be 'Responsible (with) AI,' it's really about how it impacts our neighbors, the underserved, our environment, and beyond. It means we are willing to use AI with consideration for the world around us.”— N. Liberty White, Top Voice in AI Readiness & Workforce Development
“I cannot control what the AI companies give me, but I can control which I choose to use and how I use them. So I take the user perspective and ask how I, the user, can make sure that the way I treat the output is responsible. I stress test the heck out my responses and any source, any link given, I have to see it with my "naked eye". You know the saying: Trust but verify? Well I do not trust and I verify, then reverify.”— Tara Thompson, AI Educator & Keynote Speaker
“Embedded-empathy ”— Imen Maaroufi Clark, Founder, Prickly Pear Health
Responsible AI isn’t just technical—it’s political, personal, and deeply tied to the values we hold as builders and users.
Fearless Finishes: Bold Visions, Big Goals
The final prompt asked community members to share one courageous goal they’re pursuing before the year wraps. The answers? A mix of moonshots and missions grounded in impact.
“Be able to impact the lives of at least 5000 women who will actively pursue being comfortable of prioritizing taking care of their health through an active practice of intentionality via the Prickly Pear App.”— Imen Maaroufi Clark, Founder, Prickly Pear Health
“I would love to get accepted to be a TEDx Speaker. I'm submitting my entry tomorrow and crossing all fingers. (Keeping the topic under wraps, but it's got nothing to do with AI, or business!)”— Tara Thompson, AI Educator & Keynote Speaker
“Two bold moves for me: roll out the MVP for feedback and kick off a fundraising round. Let’s GOOO!”— Eugina Jordan, CEO & Co-Founder, YOUnifiedAI
These are the kinds of goals that define the Women x AI community—audacious, actionable, and rooted in making tech more human.
From Momentum to Movement
Ruby Vitatoe captured the spirit of the day beautifully:
“Here’s to dreaming bigger, scaling our reach, and making sure even more women have access to the resources and visibility they deserve.”
This Social Saturday was a masterclass in what happens when diverse women in AI come together to reflect, share, and lead. The result? A global movement grounded in creativity, accountability, and radical possibility.
